This standard specifies test methods for flexing resistance of whole shoe or sole.
This standard is applicable to whole shoes and soles.
This standard is not applicable to whole shoes or soles that have a heel height more than 70mm, a thickness of the sole more than 25mm where it is flexed, or a flexing angle less than 45° after stiffness test as specified in 8.4.1 of GB/T 20991-2007.
Note 1: thickness of the sole where it is flexed includes thickness of the insole.
Note 2: reference may be made to this standard for testing the sole materials (pieces).
