This standard specifies terms and definitions, order information, classification and designation, dimension, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate for stainless steel wire for cold heading and cold forging.
This standard is applicable to the round-section stainless steel wire for manufacturing fasteners such as bolts, screws and rivets as well as cold-formed parts (hereinafter referred to as steel wire).
