This standard specifies the classification of operation conditions for truck as well as the calculation method and correction coefficient of fuel consumption for truck in operation.
This standard is applicable to such calculation as where gasoline or diesel oil used in highway and urban road is considered fuel consumption for truck in operation.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Fuel consumption for truck in operation
The quantity of fuel consumed during truck operation, (L).
3.2
Basic fuel consumption of truck
The quantity of fuel consumed, at basic operation condition, by truck under kerb mass (no load) per kilometer, (L/100 km).
3.3
Fuel consumption of fully loaded truck
The quantity of fuel consumed, at basic operation condition, by truck under total mass (full load) per kilometer, (L/100 km).
3.4
Additional fuel consumption for truck mass changing
The fuel consumption increase (or decrease) of truck at basic operation condition every 100 kilometers when the actual total mass (including loading mass, kerb mass and trailer kerb mass) of truck increases (or decreases) by 1 t higher than the kerb mass provided by the truck manufacturer, (L/100 km?t).
