This standard specifies the measuring conditions, methods and and value rules for the dimensions and masses parameter for motorcycles and mopeds.
This standard is applicable to motorcycles and mopeds (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles").

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 3730.3, GB/T 5359.1, GB/T 5359.3, GB/T 5359.4 and the following apply.

wheel center
intersection of the longitudinal center plane and the rotation center of wheel
3.2
optional parts
additional or optional attachments for the customer's choice, other than the basic motorcycle supplied by the manufacturer
3.3
standard parts
attachments used in the standard configuration of vehicle design and included in the basic motorcycle supplied by the manufacturer.

attachment
spare parts that act as auxiliary and do not affect the normal running of the motorcycle after disassembly [such as deflector, windshield, bumper, backrest, basket, front (rear) shelf, trunk, etc.]
3.5
axle load specific value
ratio of each axle load to the complete vehicle kerb mass
4 Foundational Measurement Requirements
4.1 Vehicles shall be clean (free from oil and dirt) and fully equipped. The tire pressure shall be in accordance with the requirements specified in product technical documents.
4.2 Vehicles shall be statically placed on the supporting plane, in the pendent state, and the wheels shall be in the straight running position. If there is a windshield, it shall be placed in the working position, and the retractable windshield shall be placed in the highest position. The doors and windows of right three-wheeled motorcycle shall be closed.
