This standard applies to the general-purpose polyvinyl chloride resin produced by suspension process. This standard may apply to general-purpose polyvinyl chloride resins produced by bulk method.

3 Classification
The product classification code is composed of the four elements—product name, polymerization method, application symbol and viscosity class number (see Table 1) as specified in GB/T 3402.1. The product designation is a combination of the polymerization method, application and viscosity class number.
