This standard specifies requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of analogue quartz watches (“watches”).
This standard is applicable to watches with quartz resonators and nominal operating voltage of DC1.5 V. It may be used as reference for watches with other nominal voltages, and for watch movement and other timing devices using such movement.
