This standard specifies the positions and dimensions of the operator's seat and its surrounding main control devices relative to the seat index point (SIP) on agricultural tractors; main control devices include steering-wheel and clutch, brake and throttle pedals.
This standard is applicable to agricultural tractors with a track width (gauge) greater than 1,150mm.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

length of seat in front of SIP
horizontal distance parallel to the longitudinal plane of the vehicle, measured from the front edge of the seat cushion (offset 150mm on either side of the longitudinal centerline of operator's seat) to the vertical transverse plane containing the seat index point

width of seat cushion
width measured along the vertical transverse plane through the seat index point
3.3
pedal(s)
any or all of the clutch, brake and throttle pedals
4 Adjustment of Pedal and Steering-wheel
The pedal shall be adjusted in accordance with the factory's instructions. Measurement of the pedal position shall be made before any force is applied to move the pedals.
The measurement point of a pedal is where the longitudinal and transverse centerlines of the pedal tread surface intersect.
