4 Requirements
4.1 Requirements for cotton, cotton glazed and polyester sewing threads
The requirements for cotton, cotton glazed and polyester sewing threads are classified into those for inherent quality and those for appearance quality. The requirements for inherent quality include those for single thread breaking strength, linear density deviation rate, variation coefficient of single thread breaking strength, color fastness to washing, color fastness to rubbing, permissible length deviation rate and knot quantity. The requirements for appearance quality include those for surface knots, oil stain, color difference, dyeing defect, filling and other three defects.
