3 Principle
As for the exterior wall coating and paint, gray standard sample is used as the pollution source in the film's dirt pickup resistance and stain removal test. The sample is produced into suspension liquid, and then is attached to the test plate via brushing or dipping. The dirt pickup resistance and stain removal properties are assessed according to the change of the reflection coefficients before and after the test, or according to the color shading grade of the basic gray card. Test methods for dirt pickup resistance and stain removal of film of exterior wall coating and paint are divided into brushing method and dipping method. The former is applicable to level film while the latter is applicable to uneven or rough-surfaced film.
As for the interior wall coating and paint, common life stain is used as the pollution source in the film's dirt pickup resistance and stain removal test. The stain is attached to the test plate via dipping or scraping. The comprehensive capacities of dirt pickup resistance and stain removal are assessed via weighing of the dirt pickup resistance and stain removal of different life stain.
