1.0.1 This code is applicable to newly built, expanded and transformed projects in chemical engineering, petrochemical, metallurgical and textile fields, and is not applicable to production maintenance projects or engineering construction projects with special requirements.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the construction and acceptance of anticorrosion liners and coatings on industrial equipment and pipes and fittings made of steel and cast iron, and is not applicable to foodstuff and nuclear power industries.
1.0.3 The application of anticorrosion liners and anticorrosion coatings must be proceeded according to design documents. The consent by the design institute must be obtained when it is necessary to change the design, substitute a material or use a new material.
1.0.4 The raw materials used for anticorrosion works must conform to the provisions in state professional standards or in this code, and have ex-works certificates and inspection data. When necessary, raw materials shall be re-inspected on a sampled basis.
1.0.5 The construction formulation for various anticorrosion works can be used only after test qualification certificate has been issued by a testing institute with Grade II certificate qualification. The determined construction formulation must not be changed without authorization.
1.0.6 The construction safety technology and labor protection for anticorrosion works shall also conform to the provisions in relevant current standards and codes of the state, in addition to the provisions herein.
