1.1 This standard drawing was prepared under the organization of China Petroleum & Chemical Engineering Survey and Design Association according to the requirements of Document FaGaiBanGongYe [2004] No.872 issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and Document ZhongShiHuaXieKeFa [2004] No.155 issued by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association. This standard drawing was chiefly prepared by Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Co. Ltd., with the participation of China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corporation.
1.2 This standard drawing is applicable to the nonseismic regions and the regions with seismic fortification intensity of Degree 6~8; it is applicable to the design of foundation bolts (anchor bolts) used for fixing equipment, machine and steel structure on foundation or on other concrete and reinforced concrete structures.
1.3 The foundation bolts involved in this standard drawing include construction type and load-bearing type, and shall be embedded in ordinary concrete or reinforced concrete at ordinary temperature. The foundation bolts involved in this standard drawing are not applicable to being embedded in lightweight concrete or other special concrete.
1.4 When the building/structure is in corrosive environment, the foundation bolts shall be taken with proper protective measures according to the requirements given in Chapter 4 of "Code for Anticorrosion Design of Industrial Constructions" (GB 50046).
2 Design basis
This standard drawing shall comply with the provisions stated in the current relevant standards and codes of the nation.

3 Materials
3.1 The anchor bolts may be made of Q235 steel specified in the current national standard "Carbon Structural Steels" (GB/T 700) or Q345 steel specified in "High Strength Low Alloy Structural Steels" (GB/T 1591).
3.2 The standard fasteners, like screw threads, nuts and washers, shall meet the requirements of the current national standards; the nonstandard fasteners may be selected by making reference to the similar standard fasteners.
3.3 If the foundation bolt is embedded in concrete, the concrete strength grade shall not be inferior to C15(Q235) and C20(Q345).
4 Design principles
4.1 The design service life and safety class adopted in the design of anchor bolts shall be consistent with those of connected structure.
4.2 The load-bearing capacity of anchor bolts shall be designed by adopting with the following limit state design expression:
