This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules of dimethyl ether as well as marking, package, transport, storage and safety.
This standard is applicable to the production, inspection and sales of dimethyl ether produced by the dehaydration of methylalcohol vapor phase process or liquid phase process or the dimethy ether synthesized directly by synthetic gas or the recycled dimethyl ether in other product production process. Type I of the product is applied for the propellant, foaming agent, refrigerant and chemical raw materials of aerosol sprays as industrial raw materials and Type II is mainly applied for the materials for domestic fuel, vehicle fuel and industrial fuel.
