3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.41-2008 and the following apply.
battery
device that converts chemical energy directly into electrical energy, consisting of electrodes, electrolytes, containers, extremes, and usually isolation layers, and equipped with one or more functional units that are necessary for use, such as enclosures, terminals, markers, and protective devices.
