1 Scope

This standard specifies the test code for static load of spherical plain bearings for general purpose.
This standard is applicable to the radial spherical plain bearings, angular contact spherical plain bearings, thrust spherical plain bearings and spherical plain bearings rod ends. For the spherical plain bearings with special requirements, such as special materials, special sliding contact surface, special clearance, this test code may be referred to.
