3 Test Equipments and Instruments
3.1 Various holes (manhole, handhole and head-hole) opened in the pressure parts shall not be used with any temporary sealing devices, the closure plates at the tube joints shall have adequate strength and the welds on closure plates shall be tight reliably.
3.2 In the test, two pressure gages that are qualified through regular calibration shall be installed, and their measuring range shall be 1.5~3 times of the test pressure, which is recommended to be twice of the test pressure.
4 Test Pressure
4.1 The test pressure Ps1 adopted in the hydraulic test of entire hot water boilers (excluding cast iron boilers) shall be in accordance with Table 1, and the pressure P1 in Table 1 is the rated water-delivery pressure (also called as "allowable working pressure") of boilers.
4.2 The test pressure Ps2 adopted in the hydraulic test of entire cast iron boilers shall be in accordance with Table 2, and the pressure P1 in Table 2 is the rated water-delivery pressure (also called as "allowable working pressure") of boilers.
