This part of JB/T 7659 specifies the types and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of fin type heat exchanger (hereinafter referred to as "heat exchanger") for freon refrigerant equipment, including fin type evaporator (hereinafter referred to as "evaporator") and fin type condenser (hereinafter referred to as "condensers").
This part is applicable to fin type heat exchanger for refrigeration and air-conditioning units using R22, R134a, R404A, R407C and R410A as refrigerants. It may serve as a reference for fin type heat exchangers using other types of refrigerants.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

fin type evaporator
a type of heat exchanger which serves as a component in a refrigeration condition system for vaporizing the refrigerant liquid through heat absorption, and is used as a condenser when the heat pump is in operation; the fins are sleeved into the tube bundle at a specified distance, and the tube bundle are tightly combined by the tube expansion method; the evaporator consists of fins, tube bundle, side plates, liquid distributor (including distribution tubes), headers, and the like.

fin type condenser
a type of condenser (belonging to a type of heat exchanger), which serves as a component in a refrigeration condition system for liquefying the refrigerant vapor via heat release realized by forced ventilation, and is used as an evaporator when the heat pump is in operation; the fins are sleeved into the tube bundle at a specified distance, and the tube bundle are tightly combined by the tube expansion method; the evaporator consists of fins, tube bundle, side plates, liquid distributor (including distribution tubes), headers, and the like.
4 Type, model and basic parameters
4.1 Type
The heat exchangers are divided into forced ventilation and direct evaporation heat exchanger and condensing fin tube heat exchanger.

4.3 Basic parameters
4.3.1 Thermal parameters
The heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchanger under nominal refrigeration conditions shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1.
