1 Subject Content and Application Scope

This standard specifies types, sizes and technical requirements of asbestos rubber gaskets for steel pipe flanges.
This standard is applicable to asbestos rubber gaskets for steel pipe flanges with nominal pressure PN=0.25 to 6.3 MPa, sealing surface type is convex, concave-convex surface, tongued and grooved surface, as specified in JB/T 79 to JB/T 86.
