This standard specifies the requirements, magnetic particle, magnetic suspension, magnetization method, magnetization specification, flaw detection sensitivity calibration and the like of magnaflux equipment.
This standard is applicable to the magnaflux of injection nozzle, plunger and delivery valve made from ferromagnetic materials.

3 The Requirements for Parts Surface during Magnaflux
3.1 The roughness value Ra of parts surface shall be 3.2 μm.
3.2 The grease, rust stain, sand burning, fiber and other substances able to stick magnetic particles shall be cleared away from the parts surface.
3.3 For the parts which are required for surface treatment, the magnaflux shall be conducted before surface treatment; if it’s required to be conducted after surface treatment, the covering layer shall not affect the magnaflux effect.
