1.0.1 This Specification was formulated for the purpose of unifying the method to test the compressive strength of ordinary concrete by using rebound hammer and of ensuring the testing accuracy.
1.0.2 This Specification is applicable to the testing of the compressive strength of ordinary concrete (hereinafter referred to as "concrete compressive strength") and is not applicable to the testing of concrete compressive strength with obvious difference in surface layer and internal quality or with defects inside.
1.0.3 The personnel conducting the test by using rebound method shall pass through special technical training.
1.0.4 In addition to this Specification, the testing of concrete compressive strength by rebound method still shall comply with those specified in the current relevant standards of the State.
