1.0.1 This code is formulated to unify the technical requirements of subsidiary facilities design and installation of port engineering wharf, improve the applicability, safety, durability and economical rationality of wharf.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design and installation of subsidiary facilities.in wharf forward operation zone
1.0.3 Steel structure connection and anti-corrosive design involved with wharf subsidiary facilities shall be carried out according to the relevant requirements of the current professional standard” Code for Design of Steel Structures in Port Engineering” (JTJ 283) and” Technical Regulations for Corrosion Prevention of Steel Structures in Sea Port Engineering” (JTJ 230)
1.0.4 The design and installation of wharf subsidiary facilities shall be in accordance with those specified provisions in this code, and shall be in accordance with those specified provisions in the current relevant national standards.
2 Berthing Accommodation
2.1 General Requirements
2.1.1 Berthing accommodation shall be designed according to the conditions such as harbor position, wharf structural type, ship designing, water level amplitude and wind, wave and current
2.1.2 Berthing accommodation shall be in accordance with the safe, reliable and laborsaving requirements of the operations such as ship berthing wharf, mooring, shifting berth and U-turn.
2.1.3 Berthing accommodation layout shall avoid the interference to dockside service.
2.2 Bollard Layout
2.2.1 Bollard is divided into common bollard and storm bollard.
2.2.2 Common bollard layout shall take comprehensive consideration of harbor position, wharf structural type and structure segment etc. and shall also meet the following requirements:
2.2.2.1 Bollard layout spacing shall meet the requirements of ship mooring operation; refer to Table 2.2.2
