1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to unifying the technical requirements of blasting design, construction and quality inspection in port and waterway engineering and effectively controlling the engineering quality and guaranteeing the construction and environmental safety.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the blasting excavation, demolition, dredging and the design, construction and quality inspection of underwater foundation and base with blasting method in port and waterway engineering.
1.0.3 The construction unit of blasting engineering must be provided with corresponding qualification certificate and blasting operation license; blasting operation personnel must be provided with corresponding qualification certificate; before construction, the blasting engineering must be approved by the relevant departments.
1.0.4 The blasting design, construction and quality inspection of port and waterway engineering shall not only meet the requirements specified in this code, but also comply with those in the current relevant ones of the nation.
