This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, sampling method and judgment rule, factory quality control, marking, packaging, transportation and storage for the oriented strand board for light wood frame construction sheathing.
This standard is applicable to the oriented strand board (OSB) for light wood frame construction sheathing, including OSB for roof, wall and floor. The bond classification of oriented strand board is exposure class as referred to in this standard.
