This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of jewellery with Cu-Sn alloy coating.
This standard is applicable to series jewelleries with Cu-Sn alloy coating, which are made of various metals except precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, etc.) as the base material. It may apply to jewellery with Cu-Sn alloy coating with nonmetal as the base material as a reference.
