This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packing, storage and preservation of fuse-links for motor vehicles.
This standard is applicable to fuse-links of 32V at most which are used for short-circuit protection or overload protection of automotive electrical equipment.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, terms and definitions established in GB/T 5337 as well as the following ones apply.

Fuse-link
A fuse-type electric protective device which is connected to circuit and able to get the circuit disconnected once the current is over specified value and set time.
