This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport, storage and technical documents as to refuse collection vehicle.
This standard is applicable to the refuse collection vehicle modified with stereotyped automobile chassis.
This standard is not applicable to detachable container garbage collector and kitchen garbage vehicle.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1
refuse collection vehicle
the vehicle for closed collection and transport of various refuses, with the whole or part of functions such as automatic loading, unloading and refuse compression available
3.2
effective capacity of the hopper
effective space of the hopper for refuse loading
3.3
dumping angle of the hopper
the included angle between the hopper bottom surface and the plane of the refuse collection vehicle beam when the hopper is dumping
3.4
volume ratio of the waste water tank
the ratio of waste water tank volume to the hopper effective volume (expressed in percentage)
