This standard specifies test methods for the physical and mechanical performance of molded (including cold plastic and thermoplastic) polyurethane foam plastics.
This standard applies to polyurethane foam for molded car seat cushions and backrest.

3 Test items
This standard specifies the methods for seven tests: determination of apparent density, determination of resilience performance, determination of compression mark performance, determination of tensile strength and elongation break, determination of tear performance, determination of compression set, test of repeated compression.
4 General conditions for test
The standard environment for test conditioning and test shall be adjusted according to the normal standard environment specified in GB 2918, i.e., temperature of 23±2℃, relative humidity of (50±5)%, and air pressure of 86-106 kPa, 16h of conditioning.
