This standard specifies terms and definitions, technical parameters, charging mode, classification and function definition, structural dimension, performance requirements, test methods and inspection rules all regarding electric vehicle conductive charge coupler.
This standard specifies two kinds of charge couplers of which one for providing AC power for on-board charger and the other for providing DC power for electric vehicle.
This standard is applicable to conductive charge coupler between electric vehicle connection side and charging cable with AC rated voltage being 220V and DC rated voltage not exceeding 750V, and that between off-board charging equipment or AC power supply equipment and charging cable may refer.
