3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the terms and definitions given in QC/T 571 and the following apply. For the convenience of application, some terms and definitions in QC/T 571 are listed repeatedly.

cleanliness of gearbox assembly
cleanliness of gearbox assembly which has been subject to performance inspection, expressed by the mass, quantity and maximum size of impurity particles. According to different specified methods, the cleanliness of gearbox assembly is classified into disassembly cleanliness and undisassembly cleanliness
