1.0.1 This Guidance is applicable to installation and adjustment of thrust bearing and guide bearing of large and medium vertical-type hydraulic turbine generator units. Installation and adjustment of reversible and horizontal units and bearing having nontypical structure and special technical requirements may refer to this Guidance.
1.0.2 This Guidance provides technical measures for installation and adjustment of bearings stated in GB 8564-88 Specification for Installation of Hydraulic Turbine Generator Units.
Quality standard of bearing installation shall comply with the design drawings and the aforesaid requirements.
1.0.3 This Guidance was developed according to technical measures generally used during installation and adjustment of bearing with typical structure. Where bearing structure is changed, some technical measures specified herein may be changed.
1.0.4 Implementation of this Guidance shall not limit adoption of state-of-the-art techniques and processes approved by technical construction department.
