1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to making anti-seismic design for the structures in petrochemical enterprises have specific fortification objective and classification basis in order to reasonably use construction funds, relieve seismic hazard of structures and decrease economic losses.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the classification of anti-seismic fortification for structures in petrochemical enterprises in the area with anti-seismic fortification intensity 6~9.
1.0.3 The seismic fortification intensity for structures in petrochemical enterprises shall adopt the specified basic seismic intensity in current "Seismic Intensity Zoning Map of China"; as for areas or enterprises which have done anti-seismic fortification zoning, confirmed fortification intensity or design parameters of ground motion in approved anti-seismic fortification zoning may be adopted.
1.0.4 During the implementation of this standard, the requirements of the current relevant standard specification shall also be complied with.
