1 Subject Content and Application Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, packing, marking, transportation and storage, and sampling of extreme pressure bentonite grease.
This standard is applicable to the grease which is obtained by thickening the refined mineral oil with organobentonite and also by adding with extreme pressure additive, antioxidant additive and rust-inhibiting additive.
Products meeting this standard are applicable to the lubrication of the heavy-duty mechanical equipments whose operating temperature is within the range from -20℃ to 180℃.
Regarding the products meeting this standard, their designations respectively are L-XBFHB1 and L-XBFHB2 in accordance with GB/T 7631.8.
