This standard specifies series, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation and the like of steel bearings for railway bridge.
This standard is applicable to design and manufacture of bearing with circular cylindrical surface, bearing with cylindrical surface, rocker bearing, roller bearing and sliding bearing with hinged shaft (hereinafter referred to as steel bearings) for railway bridge with vertical bearing capacity less than or equal to 20,000 kN. This standard may apply to steel bearings of other structural styles by reference.
