1 Scope

This part of TB/T 2943 specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, and marking and quality certificate of knuckle pivot pin and yoke key for rolling stock coupler.
This part is applicable to the forged steel knuckle pivot pin and yoke key not subject to heat treatment.

3 Technical Requirements

3.1 Knuckle pivot pin and yoke key shall be manufactured by the steel produced by adopting electric arc furnace or alkaline pure oxygen top blown converter.
