This standard specifies railway product identification code and product item identification code in terms of terms and definitions, preparation principles, construction and management.
This standard is applicable to railway product management code required to be used as product identification and a carrier to handle, exchange and share relevant information.
Note: Railway product management includes production management, product access, product quality supervision and tracking, material management, operation management, asset management, material accounting, planning statistics, etc.
