This standard specifies the basic dimensions, assembling requirements and inspection method, etc. of couplers and draft gears for railway car.
This standard is applicable to couplers and draft gears of automatic coupler (No. 13, No. 13 A type, No. 15, No. 15 small slack, No. 16 and No. 17 couplers) for assembling of new railway car.
