This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, requirements and rounding off of numerical values for surface condition of hot-rolled steel section.
This standard is applicable to general requirements of surface quality for rolled steel sections (hereinafter referred to as “sections”) such as hot-rolled H section, joist steel, channel steel, and angle steel etc.
