Article 1.0.1 This code is formulated with the view to unifying the process design technical requirements for non-ferrous concentrator, improving the design quality and promoting the technological progress.
Article 1.0.2 This code is applicable to the process design for newly built non-ferrous concentrator. And it may be made reference to the expansion and renovation engineering.
Article 1.0.3 The process design for concentrator shall adopt with new technology and new equipment. The new technology, new equipment and significant scientific achievements must be identified before application.
Article 1.0.4 The site of concentrator shall not be set in the collapse area of mining design as well as the defective engineering geology sections where have fault, karst cave, landslide and debris flow.
Article 1.0.5 The workshop layout of concentrator shall be in accordance with the process flow characteristics and technology development requirements, shall take full advantage of topography and implement the principle of natural flow and compaction (layout) as well as reasonably determine the area of the plant site. For the concentrator possible to be expanded, proper development space shall be remained, however, land occupation shall not be expanded at will or expropriated in advance.
Article 1.0.6 The tailings, wastewater, dust, harmful gas, noise, radioactive substance and the like discharged from the concentrator shall be treated appropriately and shall meet those specified in the current standard specifications related to environmental protection of the Nation.
Article 1.0.7 Process design for non-ferrous concentrator shall not only comply with the requirements of this code but also shall meet those stipulated in the current relevant standards and specifications of the Nation.
