3 Terminologies, Definitions and Abbreviations
3.1 Terminologies and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terminologies and definitions defined in GA/T 1056-2013, GA/T 1057-2013 and GA/T 1059-2013 as well as the following ones apply.
3.1.1
Power-save-frame
The basic timing unit which contains 16 time slots (480ms) and is used for waking-up the dormant mobile station.
3.1.2
Dedicated control channel
The control channel which cannot be switched to service channel or other channel types.
3.1.3
Composite control channel
The control channel which may be temporarily switched to and used as service channel.
3.1.4
Received signal strength indication (RSSI)
The root mean square value (rms) of signal power received by receiver at the location of antenna.

Alias
The mnemonic name defined for number, channel and the like for the convenience of being remembered by users.
3.1.6
Partition
The information element used for partitioning the mobile station on a trunking station which has trunking station control channel (TSCC).
3.1.7
Inter TS
The execution of operation is completed between two or among multiple base stations.
3.1.8
Inter network
The execution of operation is completed between two or among multiple networks.
3.1.9
Extended address
The source address or target address of an equipment other than mobile station equipment.
