This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods of compressed natural gas as vehicle fuel.
This standard is applicable to the compressed natural gas as vehicle fuel with the pressure no larger than 25MPa.

3 Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following definitions apply.
3.1 Compressed natural gas (CNG)
It is the compressed gas fuel of which the main component is methane.
3.2 Compressed natural gas as vehicle fuel
It is the compressed natural gas that is stored in special pressure vessels and used as vehicle fuel.
4 Technical Requirements and Test Methods
4.1 The technical indexes of compressed natural gas shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1.
4.2 The calculation of gross calorific value of natural gas shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 11062, and the determination of the natural gas composition on which it is based shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 13610.
4.3 The determination of the total sulfur content in natural gas shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 11061.
4.4 The determination of the hydrogen sulfide content in natural gas shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 11060.1.
4.5 The determination of the carbon dioxide content in natural gas shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 13610.
4.6 The determination of the oxygen gas in natural gas shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 13610.
4.7 The determination of the water dew point of natural gas shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 17283.
