This standard specifies the requirements of type approval, production conformity inspection and judgment method for two-wheeled and three-wheeled mopeds at Stage III.
This standard is applicable to two-wheeled or three-wheeled mopeds which are equipped with spark-ignition engine and with the complete vehicle kerb mass not greater than 400kg, the engine displacement not greater than 50mL and the maximum design speed not greater than 50km/h.
