This part of GB 2099 specifies the technical requirements of rated value, marks, electric shock protection, structure, electrical properties and mechanical properties of adaptors.
This part is applicable to shuttered and non-shuttered, fused and non-fused adaptors for a.c. only.
This part not applicable to cord extension set.
Fuses of fused adaptors mentioned in this part are not intended to protect appliance or parts of them against overload.
