1.0.1 This Code is formulated for the purposes of strengthening installation quality management, unifying installation quality and ensuring installation quality for lifts, escalators and passenger conveyers.

1.0.2 This Code is applicable to the acceptance of the installation quality of power-actuated traction-type or compulsory-type lifts, hydraulic lifts, escalators and passenger conveyors; this Code is inapplicable to the acceptance of installation quality of dumbwaiter lift.

1.0.3 This Code is applied under the supports from GB50300-2001 Uniform Standards for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Construction Projects.

1.0.4 The provisions of this Code are the minimum requirements for the installation quality of lifts, escalators and passenger conveyers; all the items hereof shall be eligible.

1.0.5 Besides the provisions of this Code, the acceptance of lift installation quality shall conform to the provisions of relevant national standards.
