This standard specifies the special safety regulations for driver's cabs of locomotives.
This standard is applicable to the electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, motor train units and newly-manufactured locomotives used for international combined transport.
Principles involved in this standard are also applicable to shunting locomotive.
