3 Terms
3.1 Motor vehicle durability
It is referred to capacity of the motor vehicles to complete their functions when specific technical or economic indicator limit is met under the specified operating and maintenance conditions.
3.2 Degree of motor vehicle durability
It is referred to the probability, under specified operating and maintenance conditions, that motor vehicles reach the first overhaul mileage without durable damage
3.3 Damage of motor vehicle durability
It is referred to abnormal frequent fatigue damage of motor vehicle components; excess abrasion; material degradation; degradation of basic mechanical design feature; exceeding specified limits; increasing maintenance expense; emergence of uneconomical or unsafe elements caused by further using. Consequently, a replacement of principal assembly or overhaul of motor vehicle is needed.
