This standard specifies the dimensional tolerances of thermosetting and thermoplastic moulded plastic parts (hereinafter referred to as moulded parts).
This standard is applicable to moulded plastic parts formed by injection molding, compression molding, transferring and casting. This standard is not applicable to workpieces formed by extrusion molding, blow molding, sintering and foaming.
