This standard specifies the test method for dynamic waterproofness of finished footwear.
This standard is applicable to inspection of the dynamic waterproof performance of finished shoes and boots in various types.

For the purposes of this standard, the following definitions apply:
2.1 Water penetration time
The time for the very penetration of water into the shoe.
2.2 Area of water penetration
The wetted area can be seen on the insole and shoe lining after water penetration.
