This standard specifies the generic terms for construction and performance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and air cleaning equipment.
This standard is applicable to the design and production of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and air cleaning equipment without cold source and heat source, and also applicable to research, teaching and publishing work of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and air cleaning equipment.
2 Heating Equipment
2.1 Generic terms
2.1.1 Standard heating capacity of radiator
Heating capacity of radiator when the heating medium is hot water, the water inlet temperature of radiator is 90℃, and the difference of average water temperature of inlet and outlet and indoor air temperature is 60℃.
2.1.2 Heat emission per unit weight of radiator
Heat emission per unit weight of metal of radiator under each degree of heat transfer temperature difference.
Synonym: metal heat intensity of radiator.
2.1.3 Working pressure of radiator
Maximum allowable pressure when the radiator operates.
2.1.4 Rated heating capacity of unit heater
Heat quantity to supply air by unit heater under rated condition.
2.1.5 Rated air flow rate of unit heater
Volume flow of air at outlet section per unit time under normal temperature at rated rotating speed of unit heater.
2.2 Radiator
Equipment which heats room or space in convection and radiation mode.
2.2.1 Convector
Radiator which mainly adopts convection heat emission mode.
2.2.2 Radiator
Radiator which mainly adopts radiation heat emission mode.
2.2.3 Electric radiator
Radiator made of electric heating element. The heat may be indirectly released or directly supplied through working medium (e.g. oil).
2.2.4 Gas-fired infrared radiator
Radiator which uses combustible gas to combust in a radiator and releases radiant heat in infrared ray form.
2.2.5 Metal radiant panel
Radiator which takes high-temperature hot water or high-pressure steam as the heating medium and takes metal panel as the main body, and mainly adopts radiant heat transfer.
2.2.6 Wing type radiator
Radiator which has a lot of wings outside the tube, including column wing type, long wing type, circular wing type, square wing type, etc.
2.2.7 Column radiator
Radiator composed of cooling fins with hollow column.
2.2.8 Panel radiator
Radiator which is welded through metal panel pressing.
2.2.9 Flat tube radiator
Radiator which is welded with flat tube and cooling fin.
2.2.10 Finned tube radiator
Radiator which is connected in series with metal tube and piece.
2.2.11 Tubular radiator
Radiator which is welded with several metal tubes as a grid type.
2.3 Unit heater
Warm air heating equipment which is jointly composed of ventilator, air heater, air outlet, etc. It may be divided into steam, hot water, dual steam and hot water due to different heat media.
2.3.1 Unit heater with axial fan
Unit heater which is equipped with axial fan.
2.3.2 Unit heater with centrifugal fan
Unit heater which is equipped with centrifugal fan.
2.3.3 Circular top blow unit heater
Unit heater which blows downward after the air is heated.
2.4 Heating part
Part matching heating equipment and system.
2.4.1 Expansion tank
Vessel which has adjusting compensation and constant pressure function for water volume expansion and contraction in hot water heating system, including open and closed type.
2.4.2 Manual vent
Device which is installed on a radiator for manually eliminating air.
2.4.3 Automatic vent
Device which is installed on pipeline or radiator for automatically eliminating air.
2.4.4 Thermostatic valve of radiator
Valve which is installed on the radiator branch for automatically regulating the heating medium flow along with room temperature change.
2.4.5 Air collector
Device which is used for collecting and eliminating air in hot water heating system.
2.4.6 Steam trap
Device which is used for eliminating condensed water in steam heating system and preventing steam passing.
2.4.7 Strainer
Device which is used for detaining sewage in hot water heating system.
3 Ventilating Equipment
3.1 Generic terms
3.1.1 Rated condition
Working condition (parameter) which is specified in the standard for calibrating the capacity of ventilating and air conditioning equipment.
3.1.2 Rated air flow rate
Air volume flow sucked or exhausted by equipment in unit time under rated condition.
Synonym: nominal air flow rate.
3.1.3 Rated air pressure
Total pressure of equipment at rated air flow rate.
3.1.4 Rated rotating speed
Revolution number of equipment rotor in unit time under rated condition.
3.1.5 Outlet air velocity
Average air velocity at equipment air outlet.
3.1.6 Total pressure loss
Total pressure loss when air flows through equipment.
