1 Scope
This standard specifies the inspection method for the azo colourants which can decompose banned aromatic amine (see Annex A).
This standard is applicable to textile products after dyeing and printing.
2 Normative Reference
The following normative document contains provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, all parties coming to an agreement according to this standard are encouraged to study whether the latest editions of these documents are applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies.

3 Principle
Textile sample uses sodium hydrosulfite for reduction and decomposition to generate potential banned aromatic amine (see Annex A) in the medium of citrate buffer solution; extract aromatic amine in the solution with proper solution - solution partition column, and scale the volume with appropriate organic solvent after concentrating; carry out determination with gas chromatograph (GC / MSD) which is equipped with mass selective detector. If necessary, select another one or several methods to confirm the isomer. Carry out quantification with high pressure liquid chromatography -diode array detector (HPLC /DAD) or gas chromatography -mass spectrograph.
