This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, storage and transportation of granulated blastfurnace slag used for cement production.
This standard is applicable to the granulated blastfurnace slags used as active blending material of the cement.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are adopted in this standard.
3.1
Granulated blastfurnace slag
The aluminosilicate-based fusant obtained during melting pig iron in balstfurnace will has a potential hydraulicity after quenching and granulating, namely the granulated blastfurnace slag (hereinafter referred to as slag).
3.2
Chemical modulus
It refers to the ratio of the total mass fraction of calcium oxide, magnesium oxide andaluminium oxide and the total mass fraction of silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide and manganous oxide.
3.3
Glassy
It refers to the amorphous solid in granulated blastfurnace slag.
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Performance
The performance of the slags shall meet the requirements specified in Table 1.
