1 Scope

This Standard specifies the gas chromatography - mass spectrum combination determination method of the content of phthalate esters in food plastic packaging materials.
This Standard is applicable to the determination of content of phthalate esters (16 categories, see Appendix A）in Food plastic packaging materials.
The detection limit of phthalate esters compounds is 0.05 mg/kg in this Standard.

2 Principle

Food plastic packaging materials shall be determined through gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer after being extracted and purified. Ionic monitor scan pattern (SIM) shall be selected with characteristics to be qualitative with abundance ratio of fraction and to be quantitative with quantitative ion external standard method of standard sample.
